A potential trade for Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard could give the Washington Commanders a lead option they desperately need.

Ryan McCafferty of Riggo's Rag argues that the Washington Commanders should target Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard ahead of the NFL trade deadline on November 10. With Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols sidelined on injured reserve, Washington is currently relying primarily on receiving backs Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler without an established every-down threat.
The writer notes that Pollard is on pace for his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard rushing season while playing in the final year of a three-year contract. With Tennessee having already traded Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears, McCafferty suggests Washington general manager Adam Peters could acquire Pollard as an affordable half-season rental to aid their NFC East title push.
