The Anaheim Ducks have named Lukas Dostal as their starting goaltender for Tuesday night's road game against the New York Islanders. The decision follows a 5-2 loss to the New York Rangers on Monday, in which Ville Husso started in net. Dostal enters the matchup with a 3-3-0 record, an .882 save percentage, and a 3.17 goals-against average on the season.
Anaheim faces a difficult test against Islanders netminder Ilya Sorokin, who holds a 1.68 GAA and a .940 save percentage. On a three-game losing streak, the Ducks are projected to keep their forward lines and defensive pairings largely unchanged from Monday's contest, with Troy Terry, Ian Moore, and Ryan Poehling remaining sidelined due to injuries.
