The Anaheim Ducks are set to recall forward Roger McQueen and defenseman Stian Solberg from the AHL's San Diego Gulls ahead of their upcoming game against the Edmonton Oilers. Both 20-year-old prospects have impressed early this season, each scoring two goals in two AHL contests. Solberg currently leads the Gulls in scoring with four points.
The roster moves come as Anaheim deals with multiple injuries across their lineup, including Troy Terry on long-term injured reserve alongside Ian Moore and Drew Helleson on injured reserve. McQueen was drafted 10th overall in 2025, while Solberg was selected 23rd overall in 2024, with both players entering the first year of their entry-level contracts.
