The Chicago Blackhawks officially have their first home game of the season in the books.

The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the St. Louis Blues 4-2 on Tuesday night at the United Center in their first home game of the 2026-27 season. The contest marked Patrick Kane's return to playing in a Blackhawks sweater following several seasons away from the organization.
The game formed part of an eventful early-season stretch for Chicago, which also saw general manager Kyle Davidson bring back Kane and make key additions including Bowen Byram, Ian Cole, and Cole Smith.
