The St. Louis Blues have placed forward Dillon Dube on injured reserve and recalled forward Dylan Peterson from the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds. Dube is expected to be sidelined for at least two months after sustaining a neck injury. The transaction provides an opportunity for Peterson, who has yet to make his NHL debut, to potentially see game action with the Blues.
Peterson was selected by the Blues in the third round of the 2020 draft and previously played four seasons at Boston University. The 24-year-old forward is currently playing on a one-year, two-way contract and is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
