In this edition of Boston Bruins News, Marco Sturm was happy with multiple areas of his team in their win over the Nashville Predators on Thursday night.

The Boston Bruins improved to 8-2-1 on the season following a dominant 6-0 shutout victory against the Nashville Predators at TD Garden. Goaltender Michael DiPietro stopped all 28 shots to earn his first career NHL shutout, while coach Marco Sturm praised the team's strong energy following a demanding four-game road trip. Boston now prepares to host the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night.
Rookie James Hagens has impressed both offensively and defensively, now tied for the team lead with 16 blocked shots alongside defenseman Will Borgen. Elsewhere in the league, the Ottawa Senators placed former Bruins Vezina Trophy-winning goaltender Linus Ullmark on injured reserve after he sustained an injury against the Florida Panthers.
