Boston Bruins forward Mikey Eyssimont is raising hjis trade value for Don Sweeney with a hot start in the AHL with the Providence Bruins.
Causeway Crowd's Scott Roche suggests Boston Bruins forward Mikey Eyssimont is boosting his trade value with a strong AHL start. Eyssimont netted a hat trick during the Providence Bruins' 6-1 victory over the Hershey Bears, tying him for the AHL lead with seven goals.
Roche argues that Boston's forward depth makes an NHL recall unlikely for Eyssimont, as players like Matthew Poitras, James Hagens, and Marat Khusnutdinov are performing well. Consequently, Roche believes general manager Don Sweeney may eventually trade the veteran forward to a team seeking depth.
