Bruins Score 4 Unanswered, Beat Kings for Fifth Straight Win

The Boston Bruins secured their fifth consecutive victory by defeating the Los Angeles Kings 4-1 at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night. After Alex Laferriere opened the scoring for Los Angeles just 31 seconds into the game, Boston responded with four unanswered goals. David Pastrnak tied the game in the second period, followed by a third-period go-ahead goal from Marat Khusnutdinov and empty-net goals from Elias Lindholm and JJ Peterka.

Goaltender Jeremy Swayman stopped 25 of 26 shots to earn his sixth win of the season. Boston played without Pavel Zacha due to an upper-body injury, while Nikita Zadorov was a healthy scratch. The victory completed a California sweep for the Bruins, who next conclude their road trip against the Dallas Stars.
