The Boston Bruins face a looming decision regarding center Pavel Zacha as he approaches unrestricted free agency. Coming off a career-best 65-point season, Zacha currently carries a $4.75 million cap hit and could command a substantial raise on the open market.
According to NHL insider David Pagnotta on Daily Faceoff Live, Zacha is reportedly seeking at least double his current salary. Pagnotta noted that Boston might keep him as an internal rental during a playoff chase or consider trade options given their center depth.
