The 24-year-old had a breakout campaign last season with 15 goals and 33 points.

The Boston Bruins have agreed to a three-year, $11.85-million contract extension with forward Marat Khusnutdinov. The deal carries an average annual value of $3.95 million and secures the 24-year-old through the conclusion of the 2029-30 NHL season. Khusnutdinov had been slated to become a restricted free agent at the end of the current campaign.
Khusnutdinov has tallied two goals and five points through 10 games this season, following a 15-goal campaign in 2025-26. Originally acquired from the Minnesota Wild in March 2025 alongside Jakub Lauko and a draft pick for Justin Brazeau, the Russian forward has registered 54 career points in 178 NHL appearances.
