Zach Benson’s hot streak highlights key storylines for Sabres vs. Golden Knights

The Buffalo Sabres are set to host Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday afternoon following a dominant 5-2 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Buffalo enters the matchup seeking their fourth consecutive victory over Vegas, with forward Zach Benson riding a six-game point streak.

Brandon Croce highlights Benson's recent playmaking consistency alongside Tage Thompson and Peyton Krebs, noting he leads the Sabres with 13 assists. Croce also points out a critical mismatch, as Buffalo's 27th-ranked penalty kill faces a Vegas power play operating at a 27.8% success rate.
