Zucker, Lyon Practice, Sabres Take On Wild’s Buffalo Brothers

The Buffalo Sabres continue their five-game homestand on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild at KeyBank Center. Buffalo received a boost during morning skate as injured winger Jason Zucker and goaltender Alex Lyon returned to the ice in non-contact jerseys. Zucker is recovering from offseason core muscle surgery, while Lyon is rehabilitating a preseason shoulder injury.

Goaltender Colten Ellis is slated to make his first start of the season for Buffalo, with veteran Justin Danforth expected to replace Sam Carrick in the lineup. The matchup also features Buffalo natives Marcus and Nick Foligno returning to play against the Sabres.
