The Calgary Wranglers begin a five-game road trip with a back-to-back weekend series against the Colorado Eagles on Friday and Saturday. Both teams are looking to bounce back from recent losses, with third-place Colorado currently sitting ahead of fifth-place Calgary in the standings. A weekend sweep would allow the Flames' AHL affiliate to overtake the Eagles.
Calgary enters the series with recent roster changes, including the assignment of goaltender Arsenii Sergeev from the NHL and the recall of forward Ryan Hofer from the ECHL. Meanwhile, forward William Stromgren remains with the Calgary Flames after scoring his first NHL goal earlier in the week.
