The Montreal Canadiens owe Billy Ryan. He was the one who pushed for the Habs to select Jacob Fowler back in 2023 and it's a good thing he did.

Montreal Canadiens rookie goaltender Jacob Fowler delivered a historic performance, stopping all 46 shots in a 2-0 victory over the St. Louis Blues. The 21-year-old netminder secured his second shutout of the season, while Zachary Bolduc and Florian Xhekaj provided the goals for Montreal under head coach Martin St-Louis.
Since his call-up from the Laval Rocket, Fowler has posted a 6-1-0 record with six consecutive victories. With that winning streak, he became only the third goaltender in Canadiens franchise history to record at least six straight wins before turning 22, joining Rogie Vachon and Patrick Roy.
