The Story in 60 Seconds

Chicago Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill adjusted the team's forward lines and defensive pairings during Saturday's practice following a 3-7-0 start to the season. The changes come ahead of a Sunday matchup against the Florida Panthers after Chicago dropped consecutive games by scores of 4-0 and 4-1. While the top line of Roman Kantserov, Connor Bedard, and Patrick Kane remained intact, Jordan Greenway shifted to the second line and Andrew Mangiapane returned to the lineup.

Defenseman Kevin Korchinski entered the defensive pairings alongside Sam Rinzel, replacing Ethan Del Mastro for what will be his second appearance of the season. Blashill cited the need for added size and physicality against Florida, leading to forward Oliver Moore being designated as a healthy scratch. Injured defenseman Bowen Byram also participated in practice wearing a non-contact jersey but remains unavailable for Sunday's game.
