The first three games of the Chicago Blackhawks season isn't overly encouraging, according to the numbers.

The Chicago Blackhawks have started the season 0-3-0 and have been outscored 15-5 across their first three games, Nestor Quixtan of Blackhawk Up argues. The team is struggling offensively in the absence of Connor Bedard, forcing Frank Nazar into the first-line center role while rookie Anton Frondell centers the second line alongside Oliver Moore and Ryan Greene.
Quixtan notes that defensive struggles are also critical, with Chicago conceding 97 shots and 27 defensive zone giveaways. Goaltender Spencer Knight holds a 4.04 GAA through two games, and the writer emphasizes that the Blackhawks must dramatically tighten their defense ahead of their upcoming matchup against the St. Louis Blues.
