The Blackhawks played a solid game all the way around to bring home a 2-1 victory and snap a 3-game losing skid.

The Chicago Blackhawks snapped a three-game losing skid with a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday at the United Center. Los Angeles opened the scoring early in the first period when Samuel Helenius slipped a puck past Chicago goaltender Spencer Knight. The Blackhawks answered back with a power-play goal from Roman Kantserov in the second period, before defenseman Wyatt Kaiser scored the game-winner in the third period.
The victory improved Chicago's record to 4-8-0 as they concluded a seven-game homestand. Chicago excelled on special teams, converting one power-play chance and successfully killing all three penalties, including a four-minute double minor to begin the final period. Head coach Jeff Blashill praised the team's complete defensive effort, while the Blackhawks now prepare for an upcoming road trip against the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins.
