Could the Blackhawks trade this forward by the deadline?

Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen has been identified as a potential trade candidate ahead of the deadline, according to The Athletic's Scott Powers. With the Blackhawks off to a difficult 3-6-0 start to the 2026-27 season, the team may look to move pending unrestricted free agents if they fail to climb into playoff contention.
Powers noted that Teravainen is on an expiring contract and began the campaign as a healthy scratch. Despite a challenging 2025-26 season, the veteran forward has registered two goals and five points through seven games, potentially generating market interest if made available.
