The Colorado Avalanche are looking at another costly injury, this time potentially befalling Josh Manson on Wednesday night.

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson sustained a lower-body injury during Wednesday night's game against the New Jersey Devils. Manson exited in the first period after an awkward fall along the boards and required assistance heading down the tunnel. The Avalanche subsequently played the remainder of the contest with five defensemen.
Despite losing Manson, Colorado secured a victory against New Jersey, surrendering only a freak shorthanded goal. Daily Faceoff has initially listed Manson as day-to-day ahead of the team's upcoming Saturday game against the Calgary Flames, though the team is expected to provide an official update on Thursday.
