The Avalanche forward is dealing with a new upper-body injury unrelated to the lower-body issue that delayed his season debut, forcing him to miss at least two more games.

Colorado Avalanche forward Zach L’Heureux is sidelined by a new upper-body injury that will keep him out for at least two more games. Head coach Jared Bednar confirmed that L’Heureux will not travel with the team for their upcoming road matchups against the Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils.
The setback is unrelated to the lower-body injury that delayed L’Heureux's regular-season debut after he was acquired from the Nashville Predators. Forward Nicolas Roy will also stay behind in Colorado due to a lower-body injury as the team prepares to return home on October 23 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
