Nathan MacKinnon surprised fans by fighting Los Angeles Kings defenseman Brandt Clarke during the Colorado Avalanche's 2026-27 season opener on Wednesday night. Following the altercation, 9NEWS reporter Scotty Gange dubbed MacKinnon "The Biggest Dogg," expanding on his traditional "Nate Dogg" nickname.
