The Daily: Red Wings Players ‘Happy With Guys Who are Here’; Edvinsson Update

Detroit Red Wings players are ready to move forward without Dylan Larkin following his trade request, according to forward Alex DeBrincat after Detroit's 4-1 victory over Chicago. DeBrincat stated that the team is happy with and confident in the current roster. Despite ongoing turmoil involving Larkin and unsigned defenseman Simon Edvinsson, Detroit has posted a 5-1-3 record across their last nine games under coach Todd McLellan.

Interim general manager Shawn Horcoff confirmed that contract discussions regarding Edvinsson remain status quo, emphasizing that his objective is to re-sign the defenseman rather than trade him. Horcoff also maintains specific trade demands for Larkin, who is relinquishing significant salary to leave the organization.
