Canucks 2026-27 off-season review: Vancouver targeted veterans to help young core

Several departures also highlighted Vancouver's off-season activity, including trading forward Nils Höglander for a 2029 third-round draft pick. Defenceman Marcus Pettersson was traded to the New York Rangers in exchange for a 2030 first-round pick, while Teddy Blueger joined the Toronto Maple Leafs.
