The Edmonton Oilers will be represented on Hockey Canada's expanded leadership team.

Former Edmonton Oilers goaltending coach Dustin Schwartz will join Hockey Canada as their head of goaltending and goaltending coach. The appointment is part of a broader leadership overhaul by the governing body, with Schwartz scheduled to begin his new role in 2027.
Schwartz spent a decade with the Oilers from 2014 through the 2024-25 season. Alongside his hiring, Hockey Canada introduced an advisory board featuring prominent hockey figures such as Steve Yzerman, Doug Armstrong, Bruce Cassidy, Brad Treliving, and Shane Doan.
