florida panthers forward brad marchand updated timeline of potential return from left knee injury could be longer first thought, barkov update This article: Brad Marchand has Injury Update on Potential Panthers Return originally appeared on Florida Hockey Now.

Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand provided an update on his recovery from a left knee injury on Thursday, stating he expects to return within five to six weeks. Marchand sustained the injury on October 6 against the Los Angeles Kings and has since resumed skating. Head coach Paul Maurice previously suggested a three-week timeline, but Marchand indicated his return might take slightly longer.
Marchand expressed relief that the injury was not season-ending or career-threatening after needing assistance off the ice from Niko Mikkola and Brady Tkachuk. Meanwhile, teammate Sasha Barkov is also skating and undergoing rehab alongside Marchand, though Barkov has not established a specific timeline for his own return to the lineup.
