Uvis Balinskis returns to the blue line as the Panthers sport fresh threads and aim to neutralize Connor Bedard following a streak-snapping loss to Detroit.
Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice announced one lineup change ahead of Wednesday night's home game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Defenseman Uvis Balinskis will return to the blue line, replacing veteran Radko Gudas on the third pairing alongside Dmitry Kulikov. Goaltender Jacob Markstrom will make his second consecutive start after recently returning from a five-game injury absence.
The Panthers enter the matchup looking to rebound from a 5-3 loss to the Detroit Red Wings, which halted their three-game winning streak and left them with an 8-5-2 record. Florida currently occupies the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference as they conclude their three-game homestand at Amerant Bank Arena.
