Florida Panthers prospect Ryder Cali is an NCAA freshman, but his transition has been smooth, and he's off to a strong goal-scoring start.

Florida Panthers prospect Ryder Cali has enjoyed an impressive start to his NCAA career with Providence College, scoring four goals in his first six games to tie for the team lead. Selected 48th overall in the 2026 NHL draft, the 18-year-old center recently centered the Friars' top line alongside Logan Sawyer and Tanner Adams.
The 6-foot-2, 214-pound forward joined the NCAA after posting 16 goals in 47 games for the OHL's North Bay Battalion. Cali has excelled by using his physical frame on the forecheck and earning power-play time, creating potential consideration for Canada's World Junior team as Florida continues his development.
