The Florida Panthers concluded a busy October with a 7-4-2 record across 13 games, finishing the month with a victory over the Winnipeg Jets. The opening month saw captain Sasha Barkov and forward Brad Marchand suffer injuries on the road, though both players are reportedly expected to return to the lineup sometime in November.
Florida spent the majority of October traveling, playing only four of their first 14 contests at home in Sunrise. Despite the road-heavy schedule, the Panthers recorded five hat tricks, including two on back-to-back nights from Brady Tkachuk, and now prepare to open November hosting the Detroit Red Wings.
