Marchenko was injured on a collision with Flames forward Yegor Sharangovich.

Toronto Maple Leafs winger Kirill Marchenko sustained a lower-body injury on Monday night against the Calgary Flames. Marchenko crashed awkwardly into the boards during the second period following a hit by Flames forward Yegor Sharangovich. The 26-year-old forward headed directly to the dressing room in discomfort after recording 7:05 of ice time across eight shifts at Scotiabank Saddledome.
At the time of his departure, Toronto trailed Calgary 3-0. Acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets in September, Marchenko entered the matchup with six goals and 14 points through 13 games with the Maple Leafs while playing alongside William Nylander.
