Rui Hachimura, who signed with the Clippers in the offseason, received a warm welcome from Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic before the Clippers' loss to the Lakers.

Rui Hachimura faced his former team for the first time since joining the Los Angeles Clippers, falling 125-117 to the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. The forward was honored with a pregame video tribute and embraced former teammates Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic before scoring 16 points in the defeat.
Hachimura joined the Clippers in free agency on a two-year, $28 million contract after spending four seasons with the Lakers. While adjusting to a larger offensive focal role under head coach Tyronn Lue, Hachimura converted five of his 14 field-goal attempts in the matchup.
