The Los Angeles Kings have activated winger Mats Zuccarello from injured reserve, according to a team announcement. Los Angeles had two open roster spots on their 23-man roster, meaning no corresponding roster move was required. Zuccarello has recorded one assist across two appearances this season while dealing with an undisclosed injury.
His activation comes as the Kings remain the NHL's only winless team three weeks into the 2026-27 season. Los Angeles ranks 31st in scoring and has received an .861 save percentage from goaltenders Darcy Kuemper and Anton Forsberg.
