- Utah Mammoth defenseman Mikhail Sergachev left Tuesday night's 5-3 win over New Jersey after being struck on the back of the helmet by a puck.

Utah Mammoth defenseman Mikhail Sergachev exited Tuesday night's 5-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils after suffering an upper-body injury. Sergachev was struck in the back of the helmet by a puck cleared by teammate MacKenzie Weegar late in the second period, prompting him to leave the bench and head directly to the locker room.
Prior to his early departure, the 28-year-old defenseman recorded three assists to help Utah establish a 3-2 lead through two periods. The performance marked his 300th career assist in his 634th NHL game, though Utah head coach Andre Tourigny had no immediate update on his condition following the win.
