The Minnesota Wild announced a roster move involving this 28-year-old player before their San Jose Sharks game.

The Minnesota Wild have recalled 28-year-old forward Mason Shaw from their AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, ahead of Friday's game against the San Jose Sharks. Shaw, who rejoined Minnesota on a one-year, $850,000 contract following a stint with the Winnipeg Jets, provides depth as the team manages roster availability.
The recall comes as forward Marcus Foligno is sidelined for Friday's contest, according to a report from Michael Russo of The Athletic. Shaw has posted 10 points across 11 games in the AHL this season and has appeared in 82 career NHL games.
