The Minnesota Wild have claimed defenseman Cameron Crotty off waivers from the Ottawa Senators.

The Minnesota Wild have claimed 27-year-old defenseman Cameron Crotty off waivers from the Ottawa Senators. The move comes shortly after the Wild lost defenseman Daemon Hunt on waivers to the Nashville Predators. Crotty has appeared in three NHL games this season with Ottawa and previously played for the Wild organization during the 2024-25 campaign.
Crotty is currently in the second year of a two-year, two-way contract carrying an $812,500 average annual value. He adds defensive depth for Minnesota as the team manages injuries to Brock Faber and Jared Spurgeon.
