The Minnesota Wild have activated forward Nico Sturm from injured reserve and reassigned forward Hunter Haight to the AHL's Iowa Wild. Sturm returns after missing time with an upper-body injury sustained on October 12 against the Vegas Golden Knights, when a puck shot by captain Jared Spurgeon struck him in the head.
Sturm is expected to resume his bottom-six role against the Edmonton Oilers after going scoreless in his first three games of the season. Haight heads back to Des Moines after a brief recall, having posted five points in six AHL games prior to his call-up.
