Montreal Canadiens prospect Michael Hage led the Michigan Wolverines to a season-opening 7-2 victory over Bowling Green. Hage registered two goals and an assist, recording six shots on goal and winning 13 of 21 faceoffs. His performance included a second-period power-play goal, an assist on a goal by Jayden Perron, and an additional tally in the third period.

Drafted 21st overall by Montreal in 2024, Hage returned to Michigan for his junior season to pursue a National Championship following a Frozen Four double-overtime loss to Denver last year. After finishing tied for third nationally with 52 points last season, he is expected to sign an entry-level contract after the current campaign.
