Shane Wright can be a big part of the Predators' future, and Chris MacFarland is prepared to let him grow into that role.
Nashville Predators general manager Chris MacFarland delivered an encouraging message to Shane Wright following his acquisition from the Seattle Kraken. MacFarland emphasized that the 22-year-old center does not need to carry undue pressure from his draft status and will be given room to develop within the team's long-term plans.
Wright arrived in Nashville through a one-for-one trade that sent Matthew Wood to Seattle. Currently in the final year of his entry-level contract, Wright expressed his goal to build a winning culture and pursue Stanley Cups with the Predators.
