Yegor Surin is another exciting prospect in the Predators organization, and he isn't planning on staying in Russia for much longer.
Agent Dan Milstein announced that Nashville Predators prospect Yegor Surin will sign and join the franchise at the conclusion of the current season. Speaking on the DFO Insider podcast, Milstein shared that the Predators are excited for Surin's arrival, with hopes that the forward will compete with the NHL club at the start of next season.
Surin is currently completing his final planned KHL campaign with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, where he tallied 13 points across his first 21 games this season. Following a 37-point campaign last year, the 6-foot-2 center previously impressed at development camp before committing to finish his time in Russia.
