After overcoming a pre-season injury, the veteran forward showcased his versatility and leadership, sparking New Jersey’s offense and special teams in a triumphant return to the lineup.

Connor Brown made his season debut for the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night against the Colorado Avalanche, recording an assist. The veteran forward missed the Devils' first eight games of the 2025-26 season due to a lower-body injury suffered during practice before making his return.
Brown logged 13:54 of ice time alongside Cody Glass and Jesper Boqvist, setting up Boqvist's third-period empty-net goal. Head coach Sheldon Keefe praised Brown's speed, versatile play at five-on-five, and key contributions to the penalty kill.
