The New York Islanders officially unveiled their Hometown Remix jersey on Monday, confirming months of leaks and speculation regarding the return of their Fisherman design. The jersey features a white base with navy shoulders, teal and orange wave-inspired striping, and an updated Fisherman crest, accompanied by redesigned lighthouse shoulder patches.
The original Fisherman logo was introduced in 1995 and retired two seasons later due to fan criticism, but it has recently enjoyed a resurgence. The team plans to debut the uniform on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes at UBS Arena, marking the first of 11 appearances during the 2026-27 season.
