A loud CTC crowd greeted their former captain with constant boos and a relentless variety of insulting chants on Wednesday night.

Former captain Brady Tkachuk faced relentless jeers from Ottawa Senators fans as the Senators secured a 5-1 victory over the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night. Despite Tkachuk scoring the opening power-play goal for Florida, Ottawa dominated the rest of the contest, getting goals from Tim Stützle, Stephen Halliday, Claude Giroux, Shane Pinto, and Warren Foegele.
The intensely hostile atmosphere saw fans chant insults, boo Tkachuk's charity video tribute, and toss his former jerseys onto the ice. Ottawa improved to 7-3-0 on the season, though starting goaltender Linus Ullmark exited early with a lower-body injury.
