Scouting MTL-STL and PHI-CBJ, and Philadelphia Flyers Search for a Center

NHL teams across the league are evaluating trade options, roster adjustments, and injury recoveries. The Washington Capitals have reportedly granted Ivan Miroshnichenko permission to seek a trade due to roster constraints, while the Toronto Maple Leafs are reportedly open to pursuing a blockbuster deal. Elsewhere, the New York Rangers aim to address their goaltending amid struggles without Igor Shesterkin, and the Philadelphia Flyers continue to search for a center.

Several other organizations are monitoring market opportunities and player health updates. The Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks are among the clubs showing interest in defenseman Simon Edvinsson. On the injury front, Dante Fabbro returned to action after missing nine games, while Jonathan Huberdeau and Ben Kindel joined their respective teams for practice sessions.
