With three forwards suddenly unavailable, the Senators called up Philip Tomasino and Xavier Bourgault as they try to get back on track against the Sharks.

The Ottawa Senators have recalled forwards Philip Tomasino and Xavier Bourgault from the AHL's Belleville Senators ahead of Saturday's road game against the San Jose Sharks. The roster moves follow injuries to Warren Foegele and Andre Burakovsky, alongside a two-game suspension issued to Hayden Hodgson. With only 10 forwards available, Ottawa turned to Belleville's top two scorers to fill the gaps in the lineup.
Ottawa enters the matchup aiming to snap a brief losing streak following a 6-5 overtime defeat against the Los Angeles Kings. The Senators hold an 8-5-1 record and have struggled defensively since starting goaltender Linus Ullmark was sidelined by injury, allowing 20 goals across their past four games.
