Owen Tippett and Matvei Michkov provided the goals for Philadelphia, while goaltender Joseph Woll stopped 37 shots in the loss. Pyotr Kochetkov made 16 saves for Carolina. Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen left the game with an apparent hand injury.
