The Flyers' opening night roster is now locked in, with Carl Grundström and Garrett Wilson the final roster players to make the cut.

General manager Daniel Briere and the Philadelphia Flyers have submitted their final 23-man roster ahead of opening night. The team will open the season carrying the maximum 23 players, with projected starting forward Denver Barkey starting the campaign on injured reserve. Barkey's injury occurred on September 22, meaning his placement can be backdated, allowing the team activation flexibility.
Barkey's injury opened a roster spot that enabled Philadelphia to retain forwards Carl Grundström and Garrett Wilson. Grundström stayed with the club despite clearing waivers last week, while the 35-year-old Wilson earned a roster spot after signing a one-year, two-way contract worth $850,000 on Sunday.
