Flyers Game Preview vs. Hurricanes: Lineup Changes and a Gut Check

The Philadelphia Flyers seek their first victory of the 2026-27 season as they host the reigning Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Following a 7-0 blowout loss to Pittsburgh and a 3-2 overtime defeat against New Jersey, head coach Rick Tocchet has implemented multiple lineup changes ahead of Saturday's divisional matchup.

Goaltender Joseph Woll will make his second consecutive start after stopping 41 shots against the Devils. Defenseman David Jiricek makes his season debut, while forwards Matvei Michkov and Travis Konecny are reunited alongside center Christian Dvorak.
