Projected Flyers’ lines and Pairings for the Home/Season Opener

The Philadelphia Flyers have outlined their projected forward lines and defensive pairings ahead of their 2026-27 season opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Head Coach Rick Tocchet indicated that recent practice combinations were very close to the final lineup. The top line features Owen Tippett, Trevor Zegras, and Porter Martone, while Dan Vladar and Joseph Woll form the goaltending duo.

Defenseman Travis Sanheim is paired with Rasmus Ristolainen, alongside a second unit featuring Cam York and Jamie Drysdale. Forward Denver Barkey will miss the opener after being placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.
