The Flyers just look and play like a bad team.

The Philadelphia Flyers suffered a 3-2 defeat to the New York Rangers on Thursday night after surrendering a 2-1 third-period lead. Simon Benoit and Noel Acciari provided goals to put Philadelphia ahead, but the team collapsed late in regulation.
The Rangers leveled the contest with a power-play goal from Pavel Dorofeyev before Tye Kartye scored the game-winner on a breakaway following defensive coverage errors. The loss left Philadelphia with just four wins in their first 18 games of the season, prompting head coach Rick Tocchet and players to lament their passive play while defending late leads.
