Travis Konecny returned from a 10-game absence due to a lower-body injury to help lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 6-3 victory over the Utah Mammoth. Activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's contest, Konecny posted a goal, an assist, and four hits. Head coach Rick Tocchet noted after the game that Konecny's presence provided a lot of juice in the locker room.
Playing on a line alongside Christian Dvorak and Trevor Zegras, Konecny scored his first goal of the season to give Philadelphia a 2-1 lead. The win improved the Flyers to 4-8-4 on the season and snapped a three-game winless streak, while forward Owen Tippett also made his return from a six-game absence.
