Philadelphia Flyers forward Trevor Zegras expressed frustration following the team's 4-2 home loss to the Minnesota Wild, stating that the team needs to stop relying on moral victories and start finishing scoring chances. The defeat dropped the Flyers to a 4-9-4 record on the season as they continue to drop competitive games.
Zegras recorded an assist during the matchup but also received a 10-minute misconduct for tapping the ice at a referee, drawing criticism from head coach Rick Tocchet. Zegras previously signed a four-year contract extension with Philadelphia earlier in 2026 after posting 26 goals and 67 points the prior season.
